The EiQ Networks management team includes talented and experienced executives, with proven track records, dedicated to success.
Vijay is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of building successful businesses delivering enterprise-class solutions. Before starting eIQnetworks, he founded AppIQ, an application storage resource management provider acquired by Hewlett Packard in October 2005, and WebManage Technologies, a policy-driven content delivery solution provider acquired by Network Appliance in August 2000. Vijay’s experience includes senior executive positions in the financial industry at Spencer Trask Securities and Josephthal Lyon & Ross. Vijay is the co-owner of five patents for the architecture and design of the WebManage Content Delivery system, Adaptive Policy Engine and SLA Management. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and instrumentation plus his MBA and post MBA degrees from Baruch College in New York.
John is responsible for worldwide sales and operations at eIQnetworks, Inc. He brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software sales and sales management. From 2009 to 2010, John served was Vice President of North American Sales for Micro Focus, a $100M+ business unit. From 2007 to mid 2009 John served as eIQ’s SVP of Sales where he delivered more than 50% revenue growth each year. At Segue Software, as Vice President of worldwide sales, John lead the Company to its acquisition by Borland Software in 2006 for $110 million. In 2005, John was instrumental in building Pedestal Software prior to its acquisition by Altiris for $75 million. John successfully built sales organizations at both Mathworks and Empirix. John has a BA in Finance from Providence College.
Geoff leads all engineering activities for eIQnetworks. He has more than 20 years of enterprise software engineering and management experience. As Vice President of Engineering, Geoff has managed large global engineering teams and delivered market leading security software products for privileged identity management, fine grained access control, and web access management at Gradient Technologies, Netegrity (acquired by CA), BEA Systems (acquired by Oracle) , CA and BeyondTrust. He holds a BS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from WPI.
Christina joined eIQnetworks in 2009 as corporate controller. She has over 15 years of financial management expertise developing and implementing financial planning, controls and reporting for high technology companies. Previ- ously, she served Ecora Software Corporation (acquired by Versata, Inc.) as director of finance. She played an instrumental role in the company’s acquisition, actively contributing to investor meetings and preparing financial due diligence documents. She has held positions as manager of financial planning and analysis for Cedar Point Communications, Segue Software (acquired by Borland Software) and Network Plus Corporation (acquired by Broadview Networks) responsible for the development of company forecasts, long-range planning, annual operating plans and management reporting. Jay Reddy
Co-Founder, GM
A technology industry veteran, Jay brings over 18 years of operational and engineering experience to eIQ. Jay co-founded and served as VP of Operations for WebManage Technologies and founded Hyperzine Communications, a leading photography, video and consumer electronics magazine acquired by Photo HiWay in 1999. Jay also had a wide range of responsibilities at Hachette Filipacchi Magazines. Jay earned an MBA and Masters in Communication and Protocol Analysis from the University of New Haven, Connecticut.
Rob has over 10 years experience in the IT industry. He led Pedestal Software’s worldwide security management division, helping to establish the company as a leader in the Security Configuration Management area and ultimately to a $75 million acquisition by Altiris in 2005. Rob has a proven track record working with the Fortune 1000 and agencies of the federal government and building strategic relationships with business partners. Rob held leadership roles with Genuity, a leading Managed Services Provider, and Stream International. Rob earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Management from Bryant University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Brian Mehlman has over 20 years’ experience working in senior technical, product marketing and management positions with innovative and industry leading software companies. Prior to eIQnetworks, Brian helped deliver solutions in the areas of Network, Systems, Storage and Security management for Q1 Labs, Network Appliance, 3COM Corporation, Fidelity Investments and Hewlett Packard. Brian played an integral role in two successful acquisitions: Metrix Network Systems by Hewlett Packard and Webmanage Technologies by Network Appliance. Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Gordon College, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Vermont.
Chris brings 19 years of partner management experience with technology companies, deli- vering consistent results. A proven track record in channel growth, business development stra- tegy and building sales teams, he joined eIQnetworks from BigFix, acquired by IBM,where he was the senior director of channel sales for six years. While at BigFix, he grew channel sales over 300% year over year. Previously, he held senior channel management positions for Zone Labs, Inc. where he developed and mana- ged the company’s initial partner program for its enterprise security suite. Chris spent 12 years at Computer Associates (now CA Technologies) where his positions included vice president of security channels and vice president of national partner accounts where he developed strategic partnerships and executive relationships with key system integrators in North America.
