eIQnetworks Announces New Security Certification Program

Hosts Monthly Hands-On Training Classes to Certify VARs and MSSPs as eIQ Security Experts

Acton, MA – October 4, 2006– eIQnetworks™, Inc., a global leader in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) market, today announced a new comprehensive Security Certification program developed to provide Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) with sales and technical training on eIQ Enterprise Security Analyzer (ESA) and Network Security Analyzer (NSA) solutions.

Expanding on the company’s existing partner program, eIQ’s now provides two certification courses to enable partners to access valuable product, sales and technical information. Completion of both classes is a fundamental requirement for obtaining “Certified By eIQnetworks” recognition.

The first class is a half-day web-based Sales Training designed to better enable partners to market and sell eIQ solutions. The web-based training includes sessions on:

  • eIQ ESA and NSA solutions

  • The Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) market

  • eIQ’s security and compliance management solutions

  • Vertical market selling approaches

  • Sales and marketing support tools

The second course, designed as a two-day Technical Training class, provides hands-on solutions training to improve a partner’s technical proficiency. The technical training class, which will take place at eIQ’s corporate headquarters in Acton, MA includes sessions on:

  • Installation and configuration

  • Device population and network topology

  • Real-time events and alerting

  • Security center monitors and views

  • Reporting and forensics

  • Troubleshooting

  • Advanced configuration options
