eIQnetworks Names John Sullivan Executive VP, Sales & Marketing and Chief Operations Officer

Senior-Level Appointment of industry Veteran Reinforces Company’s Success in Growing Market for Unified Situational Awareness Solutions

ACTON, Mass., September 22, 2010 eIQnetworks, the leader in Unified Situational Awareness solutions, announced today that it has named John Sullivan executive vice president of sales & marketing, and chief operations officer (COO) of the company. Bringing more than 25 years’ experience in senior-level software sales and marketing, Sullivan is responsible for driving the company’s growth into key strategic markets.

John will oversee and drive worldwide sales and marketing activities for eIQnetworks and manage the company’s key strategic programs and corporate strategy. He brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software sales and sales management. John was the senior vice president of sales for eIQnetworks from 2007 to 2009, helping grow bookings at more than 70% per year. Just before his current position with the company, John was vice president of North American sales for Micro Focus and ran a $100-million business unit from 2009 to 2010. John’s previous experience includes senior-level positions at Segue Software, where he ran worldwide sales and helped lead the company to its acquisition by Borland Software in 2006 for $110 million. Before that he was instrumental in growing Pedestal Software prior to its acquisition by Altiris in 2005 for $75 million.
