Acton, Mass. – February 6, 2007 – eIQnetworks®,
Inc., a global provider of the only IT risk management
platform to unify risk, security and compliance, today
announced that it has extended its technology alliance with
Juniper Networks and joined the company’s growing Unified
Access Control (UAC) Partner Ecosystem. eIQ supports Juniper
Networks’ UAC 2.0 solution via the Trusted Computing Group’s (TCG)
Trusted Network Connect (TNC) open standards.
"We are delighted to bring our customers this added level of
assurance as eIQnetworks and Juniper Networks closely align to
meet our customers’ most demanding IT risk management
requirements," said Brian Mehlman, director of product
strategy, eIQnetworks. "We intend to continue strengthening
this long-standing alliance as a growing number of world-class
enterprises adopt the eIQnetworks SecureVue™ IT risk
management platform and Juniper’s UAC solution."
Complementary Technologies
The new agreement between eIQnetworks and Juniper Networks
builds on eIQnetworks’ existing J-Partner relationship. eIQ
seamlessly interoperates with Juniper’s UAC 2.0 solution, in
addition to Juniper’s full breadth of router, firewall, IPSec
VPN, SSL VPN and Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP)
products, to provide customers with unified IT security, risk
and compliance management solutions.
With eIQnetworks’ recent introduction of SecureVue, the market
now has access to the industry’s first integrated IT risk
management platform for the unification of Security
Information and Event Management (SIEM), asset, configuration,
performance and vulnerability data. (See eIQnetworks’
announcement on January 29, 2007: eIQnetworks Unveils
Industry’s First Integrated Enterprise IT Risk Management
Platform.)
SecureVue automatically collects, analyzes, correlates and
reports on essential security, risk and compliance-related
information across heterogeneous network, systems and
application layers. Interoperability between the Juniper UAC
solution and SecureVue enables customers to deliver enhanced
policy enforcement and network access controls that improve
overall security posture and minimize IT risk, without
compromising end point integrity.
“By teaming with companies such as eIQnetworks to enable a
best-in-class network access control infrastructure, we are
providing customers with flexible and efficient ways to
minimize IT risk,” said Karthik Krishnan, product line manager
at Juniper Networks. “Juniper Networks and eIQnetworks are
leading the industry by linking these critical security
functions through the use of open standards.”
