eIQnetworks Unified Threat and Compliance Solution Achieves RSA Secured® Partner Certification
Interoperability Partnership with RSA, The Security Division of EMC Enables Joint Customers to Meet Tighter Security and Compliance Mandates
ACTON, Mass., August 10, 2010 – eIQnetworks®, Inc., the global leader in Unified Threat and Compliance (UTC) solutions, today announced that it has become an interoperability partner with RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE:EMC) through the RSA Secured® Partner Program. As part of the program, RSA has certified interoperability between RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication and eIQnetwork's SecureVue® UTC solutions. RSA SecurID is the most widely used authentication solution with more than 40 million users across financial services, government and other markets. As a result of this technical interoperability SecureVue can now provide joint customers with a very reliable level of user authentication.
SecureVue relies on secure, trusted credentials to capture and analyze all essential security and compliance data to meet evolving security and compliance challenges. Critical to this is the ability to access enterprise assets securely using advanced, trusted technologies such as RSA SecurID two-factor authentication. SecureVue's integrity and authentication controls such as NIST FIPS 140-2 validation, coupled with RSA SecurID support, will provide an additional layer of assurance to SecureVue customers that their critical security data is not compromised.
"Two-factor authentication using RSA SecurID is yet another significant advancement for the SecureVue platform in helping our customers' cyber security measures," said Vijay Basani, President & CEO at eIQnetworks. "By allowing our customers to leverage their investments in industry-leading, two-factor authentication technology, such as RSA SecurID, we are able to provide a highly trusted method to access critical security and compliance data from across the enterprise within SecureVue."
SecureVue delivers enterprise visibility into an organization's security and compliance posture. By eliminating data silos inherent in point security and compliance management products, SecureVue's unified security and compliance platform allows organizations to quickly and effectively identify and address cyber security threats that are impossible using individual point products.
In addition, SecureVue's comprehensive compliance and secure configuration auditing provides one-click access to detailed compliance assessment for regulations, best practices, and standards. SecureVue's single-platform approach results in enterprise-wide situational awareness, more streamlined security and compliance operations, and it eliminates data silos resulting in a significantly lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
"We are pleased to team up with eIQnetworks to help meet the unique needs of the enterprise by providing joint customers with a proven UTC solution to enable a clear path for mitigating cyber security threats," said Ted Kamionek, Vice President, Business Development & Technical Alliances at RSA. "This inventive collaboration provides another critical step forward in helping to best protect the organization's information, identities and infrastructures, while lowering TCO for compliance automation."
